FUNCTION OF WORK:To perform operations support tasks for a state park or state historic site.
LEVEL OF WORK:SUPERVISION RECEIVED:General from a Park Technician Supervisor or other higher-level personnel.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Provides guidance to lower-level technicians as necessary.
JOB DISTINCTIONS:Differs from Park Technician B by the presence of advanced-level park operations support tasks.
Differs from Park Technician Supervisor by the absence of direct supervisory responsibilities.

At the advanced level, serves as a leadworker for lower-level personnel; provides training and guidance as necessary.
Performs the full scope of park operations support tasks and ensures assigned areas are maintained in accordance with established standards.
Completes park maintenance tasks requiring special safety training.
Inspects assigned facilities and grounds for operational concerns; reports issues to the assigned supervisor.
Ensures equipment is kept in clean, good working order.
Responsible for keys, equipment, and supplies.
Maintains inventory of supplies.
Maintains filing system for office and maintenance records.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of experience in building maintenance, clerical work, custodial work, food service work, or groundskeeping.
