Interprets and evaluates agency policies, strategic plans, operational plans, and progress reviews to determine impact on budget forecasting.

Develops software applications and programs needed to coordinate the direction and progress of multifaceted research and analyses necessary to forecast economic conditions and trends.

Completes monthly reports of economic studies on growth and new trends in the regulatory market.

Provides state and federal agencies with socioeconomic information to develop policies.

Serves as consultant to other agencies in order to identify, illustrate, and improve performance indicators.

Represents the agency in adjudicator hearings regarding professional findings.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A master's degree in economics plus two years of experience in economics; OR

A doctorate in economics.
