Interprets and evaluates agency policies, strategic plans, operational plans, and progress reviews to determine impact on budget forecasting.

Collects, computes, and interprets economic statistics for state and federal agencies. Provides state and federal agencies with socio-economic information to develop policies.

Assists in the development of software applications and programs needed to coordinate the direction and progress of multifaceted research and analyses necessary to forecast economic conditions and trends.

Assists in the production of economic reports, studies and regulatory analysis reports.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A master's degree in economics plus one year of experience in economics; OR

A doctorate in economics.
