To provide a journeyman level of support to implement Office of Regulatory programs.

General from higher level ORS staff.

Department of Labor, Office of Regulatory Services.

Examines, analyzes, implements collection and processes all information or paperwork as relates to unemployment insurance programs and related functions.

Identifies problems and takes corrective action if necessary.

Conduct and report field inspections and reviews to ensure public compliance with statutes and programs monitored or administered by state agency, and initiates prosecution or sanctions for violations.

Conducts program compliance audit and serves as a contact for employers in a specific program.

Communicates with the public and agency personnel on matters relating to the unemployment insurance programs and functions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Four years of experience in unemployment insurance, workforce development programs, workers’ compensation, administrative services, or social services; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field plus one year of experience in unemployment insurance, workforce development programs, workers’ compensation, administrative services, or social services; OR

A bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience in unemployment insurance, workforce development programs, workers’ compensation, administrative services, or social services; OR

An advanced degree in any field or a Juris Doctorate.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
