To review and evaluate requests made by utility companies for changes in service, operations, rates, tariffs, or revenue requirements or to research and analyze regulatory policy issues relative to energy and telecommunications utility companies.

Direct from a Utilities Specialist Supervisor.

Coordinates data in rate or tariff cases.

Reviews technical reports, studies, and manuals.

Participates in complex research studies; prepares and maintains necessary records, reports, workbooks, and databases.

Analyzes and explains issues in rate or tariff case hearings; identifies the position of parties involved and the merits of each.

Assists in carrying out research and/or analysis necessary for effective regulation of energy and telecommunications utility companies. 

Reviews, researches, and reports on recommendations for rate case filings.

Reviews pricing policies and rate structures analyses.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or statistics.
