Communicates on a routine basis with various election officials, general public, poll workers, etc.
Trains to interpret ballot layout and ballot design used for printing of ballots and programming of election equipment.
Performs work required to maintain operable election equipment for use during elections.
Assists in compiling data on serial numbers, protective counter numbers, and election equipment numbers assigned to each precinct.
Provides assistance in training sessions for commissioners.
Assists in training all field part time/seasonal employees on all elections duties, upgrades, and general office duties.
Assists in preparing service call reports which include nature of calls, problems, remedies and times of departure and arrival at the polling locations.
Assists in preparing information on transporting voting machines between warehouses and election precincts.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
No experience or training is required.
