FUNCTION OF WORK:To serve as assistant to a Painter Foreman and provide assistance, guidance and support to a group of Painters while performing standard tasks of the trade.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Leadworker over Painters and Apprentices.

Performs all tasks enumerated for the Painter job.
Provides guidance for journeyman painters, apprentices and helpers as directed by foreman or other supervisory personnel.
Directs the sequence of work of subordinates.
Works with and sets pace for subordinates.
Estimates costs of painting projects.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Three years of experience or training in the painting trade.
