FUNCTION OF WORK:To set the work pace and provide leadership to Concrete Finishers working to build and repair exterior concrete structures such as columns, planters, walks, benches, etc., personally performing the fine detail finishing work.
LEVEL OF WORK:SUPERVISION RECEIVED:SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Leadworker over concrete finishers, helper, apprentice or laborer.
JOB DISTINCTIONS:Differs from foreman by lack of complete supervisory responsibility - incumbent is a leadworker and acts as supervisor in absence of foreman.
Differs from concrete finisher by quasi-supervisory responsibility for guidance of subordinate concrete finishers.

Provides leadership and sets the work pace for finishers or others engaged in building/repair of concrete
structures.
Repairs columns, walks, planters, catch basins, etc., performing detail and fine finishing work.
Acts as leader to give direction and make decisions in absence of foreman.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Three years of experience or training in the concrete finishing trade.
